Privacy Policy
Snick is a macOS app that plays click sounds and trackpad haptics as you scroll. We respect your privacy and collect as little as possible.
What Snick accesses on your Mac
Accessibility / scroll events. Snick uses macOS Accessibility to detect scroll movement so it can play a click. Scroll data is processed locally, in real time, and never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Snick does not log what you scroll, where, or in which apps.
Local settings. Your preferences and license key are stored locally on your device (UserDefaults).
What we collect
Licensing.Purchases and license activation are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. When you buy or activate, they process your email, payment details, license key, and a device identifier to validate your license. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
Updates. Snick checks for updates via Sparkle, which requests our update feed. This may expose your IP address and app version to our host, as with any web request.
What we do NOT do
No analytics, tracking, ads, or selling of data. No accounts. No keystroke, scroll, or content logging.
Your rights / contact: ark.deveveloper@gmail.com. To delete local data, uninstall Snick.
